K12 NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

The Minneapolis Federation of Teachers, Local 59 and Minneapolis Public Schools reached a tentative agreement for the 2007-09 Teachers Contract at approximately 12:00 noon on January 7, 2008.  Both parties have agreed not to release any information until the members of MFT and the MPS School Board have been briefed on details on the tentative agreement.
